Peugeot 309 Turbo Diesel

A "No Start" situation can be caused by the engine immobiliser being voltage sensitive. If the battery voltage drops below around 9.75 volts during cranking, the immobiliser prevents the engine starting even though the engine sounds to be turning over at a reasonable speed. I have found this on occasions when an inadequate battery has been fitted eg a 300 ah battery instead of 600 ah.
